PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Prior to beginning full-time consulting in 2016, I enjoyed a
20-year career in non-profit leadership, higher education, and community development. I grew and advanced through a variety of roles as an educator, executive director, researcher, and project manager.

Through those two decades of varied experiences, I gained deep insight into how groups and communities can best work and learn together. As a facilitator, educator, and coach, I am able to deliver research-based knowledge and practices that are highly engaging, and designed for individualized and real-world application.

PREPARATION &
EDUCATION

I started my college experience VERY undecided and ended with degrees in Human Development and Sociology. My graduate degrees from the University of Wyoming are in Counseling and Adult Education, which means I love to study how people relate, communicate, learn and make positive change.

Building on my academic background, I invest a great deal in my continued professional development. I have received advanced training and professional certifications in facilitation, mediation, coaching, organizational strategy, and change management, and I am a certified coach through the Institute for Social and Emotional Intelligence.

WHEN I'M NOT
WORKING...

I love to play outside! I hike, backpack, mountain & gravel bike, raft, kayak, and ski in our beautiful 'backyard' of Northwest Wyoming, in and around Yellowstone National Park.
A few other tidbits:

  • I grew up in rural South Dakota.
My high school graduating class was 12 - y
    es, TWELVE! - students.

  • I'm a podcast junkie and an avid reader. Want to swap recommendations? Let's talk!

  • I love to travel. Getting my passport stamped is a favorite pastime!

  • My husband Jarren is a wildlife biologist. He's also an awesome brewer and gardener. We have beer taps in our kitchen and a huge backyard greenhouse.

Wondering anything else? Just ask!

Curiosity & Learning

In times of change, learners inherit the earth, while the learned find themselves beautifully equipped

to deal with a world that
