About
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Before diving into full-time consulting in 2016, I spent two decades immersed in non-profit leadership, higher education, and community development. Along the way, I wore many hats - educator, executive director, researcher, and project manager.

These experiences gave me invaluable insights into fostering effective group dynamics and community growth. Now, as a facilitator, educator, and coach, I bring a variety of engaging, research-based practices tailored to your real-world success.
PREPARATION &
EDUCATION
My college journey began very undecided and ended with a degree from South Dakota State University in Human Development. At the University of Wyoming, I obtained graduate degrees in both Marriage & Family Counseling and Adult Education.
My passion lies in understanding human interactions, communication, learning, and fostering positive change. I've invested in advanced training and certifications in facilitation, mediation, coaching, organizational strategy, coaching, and change management.
WHEN I'M NOT
WORKING...
I love to play outside! I hike, backpack, mountain & gravel bike, raft, kayak, and Nordic ski in my beautiful backyard in and around Yellowstone National Park. A few other tidbits:
-
I grew up in rural South Dakota, where my high school graduating class was 12 (yes, TWELVE!) students.
-
I'm a podcast junkie and avid reader. Want to swap reading or listening recs? Let's talk!
-
My husband Jarren is a self-employed wildlife biologist. He's also an awesome brewer and gardener, a fabulous adventure partner, and my all time favorite human being.
